My personal favorite on the extensive list of Wii accessories is the Wii Nunchuk Controller. This controller is contoured to fit your hand and plugs directly into the main controller. It is used in a number of games for secondary controls. This controller allows players to take their in game characters to even greater heights. Some uses for it include passing in sports game, using secondary attacks in role playing games, and blocking with Link’s shield in Zelda. I use this controller for just about every game I’ve played and I can not think of what it would be like to not have it. I have a hard time listing it as an accessory because quite honestly when you look at all the Wii accessories there is not one that is more used or offers more in the way of versatility and enjoyment. Pick one up; you really can not go wrong

Another Wii accessory that I find indispensable is the charge station. This station is a must for anyone who is playing their Wii a lot, and let us face it; if you have a Wii you are playing it a lot. It allows you to put two controllers into a neat docking station and saves you valuable money on batteries. Also you now know where you Wii remotes should be when not in use so there is no hunting around for them come game time. The cost of batteries alone should justify this purchase, but the ease of use and knowing that your controllers will be fully charged and ready to go is an even greater boon. Who wants to run to the store at four in the morning to buy batteries after an all night Wii session gets interrupted by a dead controller? Most certainly not me.

There are plenty of decent Wii accessories out there, but the two above are the most important ones for any hard core gamer. Even better if you do some research you may be able to find a bundle that includes both of these Wii accessories and your favorite game. Best to save money upfront then to get home and realize you have drop another fifty bucks in cash. Plus like I said you will have everything ready to go out of the box.
