Comic Book Collectors – Learn how to value your comic book collection and old issues of Batman, Spiderman, Superman, Marvel, DC Comics and other comic books ...

Comic book collecting, or panelology, is growing rapidly worldwide as an organized hobby. Many original, well-loved and sometimes rare comic books (like Action Comics #1 and Incredible Hulk #181, where Superman and Wolverine make their first appearances) and related items are being increasingly sought after by avid collectors as collectibles or artwork to be preserved. In fact, the increase in numbers of comic book collectors worlwide and films about comic book heroes has attracted a whole new audience of comic book readers and this has helped the comic book industry experience somewhat of a revival following a temporary slump during the 1980s.

Maybe you grew up reading Marvel Comics like the adventures of Spider-Man, X-Men, and Fantastic Four, or the adventures of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman from DC Comics. Or, maybe you are a fan of Archie comics, or other non-manga publishers like Image Comics and Dark Horse Comics. Whether you read or collect comics for the appreciation in value, for nostalgic reasons, for financial profit, or simply because you like to see your collection complete, if you're new to comic book collecting, you may want to bookmark this page, as we aim to keep adding new articles, tips, information and resources on the phenomenon of collecting comic books.

Some of the topics we plan to cover in this section include: collecting comic books for personal enjoyment, collecting comics for profit, comic book conventions (e.g. San Diego Comic Con), comic book price guides (Overstreet Price Guide, Comics Buyer's Guide and Wizard Magazine), estimating comic book values, comic book creators and comic book characters, collection tracking tools, buying and selling comic books online, and comic book protection and storage products.

The guide will give you an estimated value for each comic book according to grade. Third, check online auctions and online dealers to see what people are actually paying for those comic books.
